Tools for Your Blog!

Hi lovelies! This is just a little post to tell you guys about some of my favourite tools for my blog!  First of all, use these instructions for all of them : Go to Blogger → Layout. Click Add a Gadget. Choose HTML/JavaScript. Paste the code in, whether I gave you it, or its an embed from the website directly.

1. https://www.glitter-graphics.com/

This is a super simple one, but you can use graphics like these: 

And much more! use the html code from the website and put it in a blogger html/javascript gadget.                                              

2. https://strawpoll.com/                                                                                                                       

This website allows you to make little polls for your website that you can also embed as a html gadget! Make any poll suited to your website, like "what type of coffee do you take" or "would you rather..". 

3. https://www.abowman.com/gadgets/                                                      

This one has cute gadgets like the one I use (the hamster), little fishies, A turtle pond, penguins, a spider, a dog, and more! Once again, you use the embed code copied from the website in a HTML gadget     

                                                                                                         4. https://excalidraw.com/                                                                     

This one does require some coding, but it's not that bad! First of all, when you open excalidraw, click live collaboration and copy your link. If you click on my little dropdown menu in the left sidebar that says play some games, and scroll to the bottom where it says "leave a drawing for the next person", putting it behind a picture like I have requires a bit more coding, but if you simply want a link to your own and aren't sure with coding yet, use this code:

5. https://atabook.org                                                                                                    

This one allows you to create a guestbook for people to leave messages for you! Once again, you need to do your own coding. But, not to fret if your still learning! Here's the base just like i gave you for excalidraw:

6. https://www.cbox.ws/                                                                                                                                  

Cbox is a very basic one that almost all blogs use, and if you aren't, you definitely should!! People can leave texts for you, and promote their own blogs! When you create your cbox it should give you an embed code so this one is super easy

Those are all of my favourite widget tools, then obviously there's the basic ones to use for everything for your blog like pinterest. If there is anything else anyone would like help with, feel free to ask! I might not be the most helpful cause i only started recently but I promise I will try my best!
